Beach Please!

"NOTHING LASTS FOREVER"

Hey pretty ladies! I am back and this time I'm here to give beachwear a quirky twist!
All of us crave for beach vacations don't we? And we all do have our bit of beach and cruise wear stocked up. Well we do not always end up on a cruise or beach and letting those beautiful graphic crops, skirts and dresses go to waste is a shame!

The cliché way to wear a sarong skirt is over a costume or bikini at the beach or poolside. Those beautiful pieces otherwise are not worn at all.
Here I've worn my 'nothing lasts forever' white graphic crop top with a grey, black, white sarong skirt. I have chosen a graphic crop top as it puts forth what you think and is the most trendy clothing in the casual category.

The sarong skirt is high waisted with a low-high diagonally which is a pleated cluster.
With this, I have paired my white pencil heels to give it a bit of a formal touch.

One thing i really like about this look is how a monochrome is maintained throughout. You can always add more quirk by playing with colours!
You can always opt for platforms or flats if you don't find heels, especially pencil heels, comfortable.

So guys I hope that finally those sexy beach and cruise wear will serve a purpose. Do let me know how you wore your beach/cruisewear by tagging me on Facebook and Instagram in your picture using my hashtag #thefashioneater0

"People will stare, make it worth their while"
-Harry Winston

Hey pretty ladies!
Doesn't wearing Indian make you feel so princess-y? I don't know about you, but at least I do and I admit enjoying all the attention and complements(guilty).
During my visit to Sansa, I not only tried out the casuals (refer to the previous post for casuals) but also some extravagant pieces.

This stunning bridal lehenga was love at first sight💕 The intricate golden work on the cardinal lehenga with the golden-ish halter blouse with the green lining left me absolutely speechless. The dupatta, a perfect match, had just the right amount of embroidery. Sansa also has artificial jewellery, and I paired a chunky golden ring with a red and blue royal design in its centre and a pair of matching earings. Trendy is a step before tacky, so to keep the look decent, I wore a simple and small golden mangteeka.

This anarkali starts as an olive green top portion, followed by a charteuse flare which ends in an ombre of olive green. The Chiffon dupatta has light embroidery to balance the plainness of the neckline. Towards the hemline is a beautiful, delicate, sequence pattern which is the essence of the outfit. I have worn a golden single bracelet with chunky designs of gold and white at intervals along with the perfect chaand bali.

"Elegance is the only beauty that never fades"

Hey pretty ladies!
I'm sorry I'm so late with this post, I had a lot on my plate!😌

I strongly feel that if you never believed in the quote I mentioned above, you will start believing in it by the end of this blog post. This post features 'Sansa' a designer brand that has exquisite collections of daily wear kurtis, indo-western tops, lehengas, anarkalis, suits, artificial jewellery and a lot more. And, the best part is that they customise as per your choice and body type!
I recently decided to visit Sansa to check out their stuff which was the talk of the town. The store had a lovely ambience and the collection was so alluring.
I tried on their most elegant outfits and absolutely loved it.

I loved the beautiful combination of the Peacock Blue lower portion and the Upper Cerulean Portion with strips of white net on the sleeve. The best part about the dress is that it is hassle free and so comfortable. You must've thought that I'm wearing a white scarf? That's just the neckline(which I love)!

This stunning raw silk piece is my absolute favourite! The Kurti is dyed a beautiful shade of sea-blue with a lotus and leaf border on its hemline. The white dhoti pants(also of raw silk) complement the look and break cliché combinations of long kurta+tights/short Kurta+dhoti pants.

The colour of this outfit is so festive yet in trend(pastel) that it suits every occasion. The white raw silk dhoti pants look best with this. The blue flower embroidery is absolutely lovely and the blue scarf just adds the oomph factor required to complete the look!

A skirt always adds an extra bit to the daily kurti and so does it in this outfit. The salmon skirt and the admiral shade kurti with peacock work go best with each other.

The entire look is a beautiful combination of white and different shades of blue. The teapot blue palazzos go well with the kurti and yet it does not give the look a blue overdose.
