Hey guys!
So recently on 2nd September '17, I was invited for the Kolkata Fashion Walk 2 which was the first of its type after KFW1!
I felt highly privileged to be invited by our favourite @pentwister @tribonista @swisslaundry_drycleaners. I got the opportunity to meet so many new bloggers like me and also some of my favourites.
Coming to the walk, we had to be dressed street style with a tinge of Bengal, my favourite look.
First we had a seminar held by four eminent bloggers - Nikita Agarwal (Pentwister), Dolon Dutta (Pout Pretty), Srishti Nadhani (snadhani) and Poorna Banerjee (Panushwari) where I learnt so much!
We engaged in many bonding activities and games followed by the treasure hunt which was the main focus of the event! We touched upon 26 different stores in Elgin Road and explored 3 of them.
The main aim of this was to establish Elgin Road as the main fashion hub of Kolkata.
Firstly, we were divided into teams for the different activities that were going to take place that day.
Then we were engaged in the first activity which was a "Use a Prop Activity". We had to use the prop on our team members and depict unity through it! This activity was sponsored by PoochBox.
PoochBox is an initiative by Pen Twister (Nikita Agarwal). PoochBox is a surprise monthly package for your dog to ease pet parents worries of finding the right product for your pooch. They hand-pick and curate a box full of toys, treats, grooming products, accessories and more, of ultra premium quality and deliver to you monthly anywhere you are! To know more about what lies inside a PoochBox visit www.poochbox.in
After the completion of the first activity and the seminar we began the treasure hunt and explored the following:
1) Geeta's Circle - 33/1 B Sarat Bose Road
2) Shree Geeta Square - 26 Sarat Bose Road
3) F studio- 26 Sarat Bose Road
4) Urban Haat- 33A Sarat Bose Road
5) Ommbre- 27 Sarat Bose Road

13) Indian Terrain- 5 wood burn park road
14) Aditi's- 234/1 AJC Bose Road
This store has everything-ethnic menswear, ethnic womenswear, mens shoes- you name it and they have it. The store is accessible only through an appointment and they customise as much as possible. Their ranges are:
Menswear 7500 onwards
Sarees 10500 onwards
Blouses 4500 onwards
Shoes 10000 onwards
Since the style was street style with a touch of bengal, I wore my super comfy tank top with denim shorts and to give the "Bengal tinge", I wore a long kimono and an oxidised neck piece.
Do let me know how you can pull street style by adding thefashioneater0 to your instagram or Facebook posts.
I would like to thank Pen Twister (Nikita Agarwal), Tribonista and The Swiss Laundry Dry Cleaners for this wonderful experience! Looking forward to the third part of this amazing event. It helped me boost my confidence and taught me a lot of new things.
